A great relationship between you and your gynecologist is vital to your health and your health care. Women of all ages benefit from regular exams.
By preventing or addressing problems early on, wellness care strives to keep you at your best!
Our goal is to provide you with the attention and resources you need to resolve your current concerns and avoid any future problems.
Visiting a gynecologist for the first time, or at any time, may feel overwhelming to a young woman. That is why taking the time to establish a strong patient/physician relationship based on trust is vital - and something we excel at!
Our doctors are experts at putting young minds at ease, giving girls the confidence to advocate for their own well-being and the power to establish a healthy lifestyle early on. Offering a more personalized environment compared to packed OB/Gyn or general pediatric offices, Premier Gynecology provides a specialized alternative without obstetric patients, babies, or young children, ensuring that teens have a trusted place of their own.
The goal of preconception care is to reduce the risk of adverse health effects for the woman, fetus, or neonate by optimizing the woman's health and knowledge prior to planning for and conceiving a pregnancy.
Reproductive capacity spans almost four decades for most women, so optimizing a woman’s health before and between pregnancies is a dynamic process that requires special time and attention and makes good sense. Our doctors specialize in helping each patient make the best and most informed plans about future pregnancy care including addressing the significant impact of social, environmental, occupational, behavioral, and genetic factors on pregnancy.
Perimenopause, or the menopausal transition, is the time leading up to a woman's last period. Transitioning to menopause may produce uncertainty, as periods can stop and then start again unpredictably.
Perimenopause, by definition, lasts until a year has passed since your last period. Beginning in your 30s and 40s, the amount of estrogen produced by the ovaries begins to fluctuate. A common sign of perimenopause is a change in your menstrual cycle. Cycles may become longer or shorter than usual. You may begin to skip periods. The amount of flow during your period may increase or decrease. These hormone changes can lead to other symptoms, including hot flashes, which can last for months or years after a woman's period stops.
Some women have no symptoms, while others experience life changes including hot flashes, sleep troubles, and mood swings. It's not always possible to tell if these changes are related to aging, perimenopause, menopause, or a combination of factors. While this may seem daunting, there are so many ways to feel better!
After the past decade of enjoying obstetrical care,
Dr. Moran and Dr. Graham have decided at this time to devote their practice to primarily office based gynecology for adolescents and adult women. This will allow their patients to enjoy a more intimate environment with a focus on wellness and preventative care, access to clinical research, and greater ease in scheduling and communication.
